Scholarship Program
We nurture talent within young people from all economic backgrounds. From its founding, BMC has believed deeply that any qualified student should have the chance to pursue their dream, regardless of financial need. It is only the extraordinary commitment and charitable support from donors to our Annual Scholarship Fund that allows us to provide necessary help to more than 80% of our students each year.
You can be the catalyst that gives the BMC experience to an aspiring young musician when you support our Annual Scholarship Fund. Your contribution of $1,500 (about 20% of full season tuition for 2022) or more to the Annual Scholarship Fund allows you to sponsor a student in our Summer Institute and Festival. With a commitment of $7,850 or more you can give one entire summer of life-changing experiences to a deserving student musician. You can also make your gift in honor of a family member, friend, or someone special that has made a difference in your life.
In appreciation for your support, you will be:
- thanked in Overture, our Summer Festival program magazine
- invited to our Annual Scholarship Luncheon where you can meet your student
- given opportunities during the season to learn about your student's summer experience
- rewarded with benefits that will enhance your experience here
