I'zaah Gray-Jones

I’zaah Ahkee Gray-Jones is a North Carolina native and has been dancing since he was three years old. In 2020, I’zaah played the role of The Narrator in the hit musical Into the Woods. I’zaah was also a finalist in the 2021 Triangle Rising Stars for his Lead role of Jesus of Nazareth in the show Jesus Christ Superstar. 

Additional roles include Ren McCormack in Footloose, the Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical, Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Seaweed J. Stubs in Hairspray. 

I’zaah currently attends the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he is excelling in his craft while earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the School of Drama.
