How do I purchase tickets?

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Most performances have tickets available on the day of the event. Some of our more popular performances may sell out, so it might be a good idea to call the box office and check availability.

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?

Tickets are non-refundable. In some cases, we allow exchanges to another event within the same season, provided the exchange has been requested at least 24 hours before the original event. Exchanged tickets are subject to a $2/ticket exchange fee. This fee is waived for donors (of $175 or more) and subscribers.

Can I upgrade or change my seats after purchase?

Yes! Tickets exchanged within the same event are not subject to exchange fees.

What fees are included in my ticket purchase?

All ticket prices include a $4 ticket charge and a $3 facility fee. NC state tax of 6.75% is added to the total purchase price at checkout.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Digital Tickets & Delivery

How do I access my digital tickets?

Why can't I share my digital tickets?

To help protect you from third-party resellers and potential scams, digital ticket sharing is limited to “Verified” accounts. If you’re a first-time buyer or your account has not yet been verified, your tickets can still be delivered digitally, but sharing will be unavailable. Tickets may also be held for Will Call pickup, provided the recipient has the purchaser’s full details.

Can I print my tickets at home?

Print-at-home tickets are not available. All tickets are issued digitally using a dynamic QR code, which activates two hours before the event and must be presented on a mobile device. Printed copies will not scan and will be considered invalid.

Can tickets be sent via text or email?

We do not offer this type of delivery for tickets.

What is Will Call and where do I pick up my tickets?

Will Call means your tickets are held at the box office and can be retrieved with a valid ID prior to the performance. Each venue has an on-site Box Office for in-person assistance.

Account & Verification

Do I need a ticketing account to purchase tickets?

Yes, you will need an account to purchase tickets. We do not offer a guest checkout.

How do I verify my account for digital ticket sharing?

  • To verify your account, come to the box office in person. Please bring the credit card used for your ticket purchase and a valid ID. Your name and address must match the information on the purchasing account.
  • Once verified, your account will remain verified permanently.
  • Brevard Music Center reserves the right to remove verified status if the account is found to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions.

I forgot my login. How do I reset my password?

Visit the Account Login page on our ticketing site to reset your password. You may also call the box office at 828-862-2105 to request a password reset link via email.

Group, Student, Child, and Discount Tickets

Are discounted tickets available?

  • Lawn tickets are available for all performances at Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium.
  • All lawn patrons must have a valid ticket. With a valid student ID, students 13 and older may sit on the lawn free of charge. Children 12 and under may sit on the lawn free of charge with a paying adult.
  • Child tickets are available for $15 for children 6-12 years of age.
  • Students 13 and older receive a 50% discount for tickets inside Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium. Children under 6 years of age are not permitted inside Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium, Parker Concert Hall, or Scott Concert Hall at the Porter Center.
  • Please note: Discounted lawn tickets for students and children may be reserved online but must be picked up at Will Call. Complimentary and discounted tickets for children and students are not available for the Legendary Artists Series.
  • Some events may have limited availability for child/student tickets.
  • We do not offer senior or military discounts.

Seating & Accessibility

Is the venue accessible for patrons with disabilities?

How do I request accessible seating?

Can I choose my own seats?

Yes! You can select your own seats on the ticketing site.

Are children allowed? Do they need a ticket?

Children and students are free on the lawn with a paying adult and tickets are required for entry. These can be purchased on the ticketing site and will be held at Will Call for verification upon pickup at the box office.

Timing & Event Details

When should I arrive?

For a typical performance, arriving 30 minutes before the event should allow ample time for parking and entry into the performance venue. For busier events, we recommend arriving as much as an hour ahead of time, sometimes longer!

How long is the performance? Is there an intermission?

Most performances last approximately 90 minutes and have one intermission lasting approximately 15-20 minutes.

What if I arrive late?

Late arrivals are seated at the discretion of the House Management staff. This typically happens at a break in the program.

Policies

What is your refund and exchange policy?

We do not offer refunds. Some tickets can be exchanged for another event within the same season, provided it is at least 24 hours before the event.

What if I lose my ticket?

Tickets can be reprinted. Call the box office at 828-862-2105.

Can I bring food or beverages?

Brevard Music Center Summer Series & Parker Concert Hall Series: Food or beverages are not allowed inside our concert venues for most events, with the exception of BMC Presents events at Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium. We do allow outside food and beverages on our lawn, so bring a picnic and enjoy a meal on our grounds!

Mountain Song Festival: Outside food and beverages are not allowed at this event. Refreshments are available for purchase from on-site vendors.

What is your weather policy for outdoor events?

Our performances happen rain or shine. If the weather calls for rain, make sure you bring an umbrella!

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed in any Brevard Music Center venue except properly trained service animals in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Properly trained service animals are allowed in any area where BMC patrons are allowed. Therapy animals, emotional support animals, and companion animals are not service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Do you have assistive listening devices available?

  • Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium, Parker Concert Hall, and Scott Concert Hall at the Porter Center are all equipped with a state-of-the art induction loop hearing system.
  • To use this technology, simply flip your hearing device’s T-Switch to “ON” or change to the T-Coil program in your hearing aid or cochlear implant.
  • For those individuals who do not possess a T-Coil in their hearing aids, Brevard Music Center also has personal body pack receivers available in the box office.

Do you offer concessions?

Light concessions are available for most events at all venues. Concessions offerings may change based on individual performances and programs.

Do you have free parking?

All parking is free, except for our Maestro area parking. Event parking begins two hours prior to each performance. Signage and uniformed staff will lead you to the next available parking space. The Brevard Music Center campus maintains roadway lights to ensure a safe return to your car and exit from campus following the conclusion of an evening event. Maestro members (donors of $3,000+) may enter the BMC campus from Andante Lane.

Accessible parking is available at the front of each venue as well as the tree line at WPA. Please be aware that these spots fill up very quickly. Golf carts operated by BMC staff are available to assist those who would like transport to the auditorium entrance. Additionally, passengers needing assistance may be taken to the auditorium entrance.

Do you allow smoking?

Brevard Music Center is a non-smoking campus. No open flames are allowed, including decorative candles, citronella candles, charcoal or propane grills, etc.

Do you have a firearms policy?

Firearms are strictly prohibited on the BMC campus, with the sole exception of qualified law enforcement officers acting within their jurisdiction and in the performance of official duties.
