Sponsor A Student

Scholarship support is Brevard Music Center's single-greatest need. Tuition, room and board for the Brevard Music Center 2010 season is $5,100. Over 90% of all students attending are awarded some level of scholarship support based on merit and/or demonstrated financial need.
By making a gift of $500 (approximately 10% of tuition) or more, you can sponsor a student attending this summer. Through the Brevard Music Center's Scholarship Program you can directly support the aspirations of these young artists.
As a student sponsor you will be acknowledged within the institute for your important role and provided with unique opportunities to meet your assigned student(s) and to learn more about their experience.
Please join with us and play a part in the lives of BMC students. By supporting BMC through the Scholarship Program, you will be investing in the next generation of artists, innovators and community leaders. Your gift will be an invaluable impact on the life of a young musician.
Sponsor a student by donating online or call David Huskins, Director of Development, at (828) 862-2121.
All gifts received by Tuesday, June 1st will be applied to the 2010 scholarship program.
From Donors Like You...
"We have so enjoyed the relationships we have had with the students we have supported. These students are truly talented and it's our hope their experience at the BMC may lead them to a highly successful career in music. But even if they don't end up in music, we are convinced they will have taken away from their experience at BMC far more than they even conceived possible before they came. It's a thrill to be part of this organization and to have the opportunity to affect the lives of these promising young people."
- Marilyn and Larry Fogdall
"Financially supporting students at BMC has enriched our lives in Brevard. We really enjoy interacting with the students throughout the season - attending their concerts, greeting them at the concerts and entertaining them at our home. For us it's like being surrogate family to our students!"
- Harriet & Ken Walls
"We have been devoted to empowering the dreams and visions of young people. Through the years, our assigned students have been remarkable young people; what a future they have! Their grateful responses are our reward."
- Valeria and James Robertson
"Wonderful music requires highly skilled and dedicated musicians, just the sort who take advantage of what BMC offers. Training these top musicians is necessary in order to perpetuate great music, and BMC plays a vital and hugely constructive role in meeting that need effectively."
- Bena and George Cates
