The Brevard Music Center needs the support of individuals who are committed to sharing our vision of making a difference in the lives of talented young musicians. Just as an orchestra is the perfect combination of many individual musicians and their instruments, the Brevard Music Center succeeds only because many people work together to make the music happen. There are many ways you can help.

Scholarships
Gifts to BMC's scholarship program help ensure that talented young students have the opportunity to have "the Brevard Experience."

Tuition, room and board for the Brevard Music Center 2007 season is projected to be $4,500. However, 100% of all students attending are awarded some level of scholarship support based on merit and/or demonstrated financial need.

It is estimated that BMC will award over $700,000 of scholarship assistance in 2007. Donors who contribute 10% or more of the annual tuition ($450 in 2007) will be matched with an individual student and will be invited to meet with their student early in the season.

General Education Gifts
Gifts to the general education fund help cover the costs of operating the Brevard Music Center. The 2005-2006 general education goal of nearly $200,000 will supplement ticket income in order to:

  • Provide faculty salaries and guest artist fees
  • Recruit and audition over 1000 students around the country
  • Maintain 145 buildings over 140 acres
  • Print and distribute 175,000 performance calendars
  • Rent nearly 100 pianos

Making a Donation
The Brevard Music Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

BMW Raffle
The annual BMW Raffle provides significant support to the BMC student scholarship program, while the lucky winner enjoys his or her choice from three different BMW models.

The 2007 season raffle was a great success. Click here to see the results.

Brevard Music Center Association (BMCA)
Working toward the Brevard Music Center's vision are the members of the Brevard Music Center Association. Its members are ambassadors to the organization and work closely with the administrative staff in two areas: fundraising and supplemental staff services. Click here for more information.
