Transylvania Symphonic Band
Woodwind, brass, and percussion students in the high school division participate in the Transylvania Symphonic Band. The TSB commences its season with the traditional Patriotic Pops concert on July 4, always one of the Music Center's most popular events. The TSB presents three other concerts featuring advanced repertoire not typically available to high school ensembles.
Under the direction of conductor Kraig Allan Williams, the TSB rehearses each week day and maintains a regular schedule of sectionals. This in-depth approach allows students to improve their ensemble skills while they master important works of the band repertoire.
