Percussion Auditions
Percussion auditions must be submitted on a DVD video by March 1, 2010.

Students in the College Division
Prepare a program that includes all of the following.
- A rudimental snare solo/etude
- A symphonic-style snare solo/etude
- Two standard orchestral snare drum excerpts
- A four-mallet keyboard solo
- A two-mallet keyboard solo
- Two standard orchestral mallet excerpts
- Demonstrate loud and soft cymbal crashes
- Two standard orchestral cymbal excerpts
- A standard orchestral tambourine excerpt
- A standard orchestral triangle excerpt
- A timpani solo
- Two standard orchestral timpani excerpts
Students in the High School Division
Prepare a program that includes some of the following; more is better.
- A rudimental snare solo/etude
- A symphonic-style snare solo/etude
- A four-mallet keyboard solo
- A two-mallet keyboard solo
- Demonstrate loud and soft cymbal crashes
- A standard orchestral cymbal excerpt
- A standard orchestral tambourine excerpt
- A standard orchestral triangle excerpt
- A timpani solo
