Preparing an Audition Recording
- Make sure that the recording itself manifests the highest possible quality so that your performance can be evaluated successfully.
- Do not edit within a selection or electronically alter the recording.
- If you are preparing an MP3 file for upload, follow the instructions.
- If you are sending a recording to BMC, label the media with your name, instrument, and age, and list your selections. Label the box or case with the same information and include your address.
Do not submit an audition recording until you have started the application process.
No audition recording will be evaluated until the application fee is paid.
With some exceptions (see audition content), auditions should not exceed twelve minutes in length.
