Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- sell single and package tickets; up-sell when possible
- capture and organize all payment details and information
- update and maintain patron records
- inform patrons about performances, guest artists and programming
- answer and process telephone calls
- reconcile daily cash drawers
- process online ticket orders
- fulfill general administrative duties as needed
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- exceptional phone and computer skills
- ability to handle the general public in a variety of situations
- excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
- knowledge of word processing programs and internet navigation
- knowledge of ticketing system a plus (ProVenue Max), but can be trained
- ability to work under pressure and time constraints
The position requires a commitment of seven days a week. The term of employment runs for a minimum of nine weeks from late May through August 10. On-campus housing and meals are included; Salary - TBD. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resumé and three references to:
