Box Office Associate

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • sell single and package tickets; up-sell when possible
  • capture and organize all payment details and information
  • update and maintain patron records
  • inform patrons about performances, guest artists and programming
  • answer and process telephone calls
  • reconcile daily cash drawers
  • process online ticket orders
  • fulfill general administrative duties as needed
The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • exceptional phone and computer skills
  • ability to handle the general public in a variety of situations
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
  • knowledge of word processing programs and internet navigation
  • knowledge of ticketing system a plus (ProVenue Max), but can be trained
  • ability to work under pressure and time constraints
The position requires a commitment of seven days a week. The term of employment runs for a minimum of nine weeks from late May through August 10. On-campus housing and meals are included; Salary - TBD. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resumé and three references to:
